Get to Know your Doula

Hey there! I'm Kelcey, I’ve been in Las Vegas since I was a baby so I consider myself “Born and Raised.” I love this vibrant city and am #VegasProud! From a young age, my heart was set on caring for others, initially aspiring to become a NICU nurse. However, God took me on a different path, one that I am incredibly grateful for. Today, I find fulfillment in being a wife to the BEST man, homeschool mom of four, and a doula providing support to families during the most transformative journey~Childbirth! Each of my own birthing experiences has been a profound teacher, guiding me to become the strong and nurturing woman and mother I am today. After the birth of my second child, my husband and I experienced unexplained secondary infertility when trying to conceive our next child. The emotional and physical toll of this experience opened my eyes to the complexities that many families face on their journey to expand their own. Determined to educate myself further, I delved into the world of fertility, studying the intricacies of trying to conceive, assisted reproductive technologies, and the emotional support needed during this vulnerable time. This period of self-discovery strengthened my resolve to support families during their conception journeys, regardless of the path they may take. Embarking on my first doula training was nothing short of amazing – being surrounded by like-minded individuals passionate about birth work, learning, and supporting one another was truly inspiring. Throughout the last six years, I have continually grown and evolved as a doula, acquiring invaluable knowledge and skills along the way. As I embrace this fulfilling journey, I am excited for the future and all the opportunities it holds for me to learn, grow, and continue making a positive impact in the lives of families. It is an honor to be part of their birth experience, offering knowledge, encouragement, and above all, unwavering support during this pivotal time. I look forward to the continued growth and enrichment that doula work brings, and I am dedicated to being a compassionate advocate for families as they embark on their own unique birth stories, including the challenges they may face while trying to conceive. My hope is to empower and support families throughout their entire reproductive journey, providing them with the guidance and understanding they need to navigate the path that feels right for them.
